A question that is asked often is what is a “condition” on a visa and under what circumstances do I need to request a variation of condition.
Certain visas are granted with a condition attached to them say for example a student visa would specify the institution, course as well as the location on the visa label / e-visa.
Work visas come with either an open or employer and location specific conditions. A tourist visa may come with a “no employment” condition.
If your circumstances change then you need to request a variation in condition of your visa.
The following table may help in determining where a VOC may apply and where you may need to apply for a fresh visa
